True to our goals of learning and sharing as much about the AV and IT industries as possible, Biamp Systems will be attending over 30 national, international, and regional tradeshows and conferences in 2013. As AV and IT continue to converge, Biamp is staying on top of changes in the industry. One of the best ways to do that is by attending these IT-focused tradeshows to learn from the integrators and end users themselves about what’s working, what’s needed, and how the AV industry can continue to facilitate this inevitable shift in approach to AV solutions.
Biamp’s regional and product managers will be attending a variety of shows throughout the year. The big six for us in 2013 are:
- ISE (Information Systems Europe)
- ASHE PDC Summit (The American Society for Healthcare Engineering Summit on Health Facility Planning, Design and Construction)
- HIMSS (Healthcare Information Management Systems Society)
- InfoComm (in Orlando, Florida; Mexico City, Mexico; Mumbai, India; and MEA in Dubai, United Arab Emirates)
- BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Service International)
- CTC (Court Technology Conference)
The Biamp team just returned from ISE where, according to our Public Address Systems Product Manager TJ Adams, “our focus this year was to talk less about new products, and more about why we’re investing in these products, what markets we’re pursuing, and how we can continue to help our distributors to focus their customers towards the applications that best fit our products.”
Next on the agenda will be ASHE PDC, the healthcare facilities managers tradeshow. We’ll be showcasing our healthcare solutions with our Vocia® line of products. The most recent product and software additions now allow Vocia to integrate with the Rauland-Borg Responder® nurse call system.
At InfoComm, we’re looking forward to seeing more technical end users who are looking for creative new ways to get their AV solution needs met. We’ll have all of our product families available for discussion and exploration.
HIMSS 2013 will feature a week of dynamic programs, speakers, and IT solutions for the healthcare environment. As with ASHE PDC, we’ll be featuring Vocia and how the recently introduced products and system updates cater specifically to the healthcare industry.
The BICSI Fall Conference comes next with a focus on network infrastructure. We’ll be talking about our newest product line, Tesira®, and how it changes the scale of possibilities for the way AV systems are designed, installed, networked, and experienced.
CTC is the most recognized name in court technology. For the three days of this conference, Biamp will feature demonstrations and presentations on Nexia® and Audia® lines of products — specifically, what these teleconferencing and videoconferencing solutions bring to the courtroom environment.
Biamp will also be attending a healthy number of regional shows in an effort to support these tradeshows and organizations, and connect on a local level with current and potential distributors, integrators, and end users. Some regional shows we’ll be attending include: InfoComm Business Roundtables, IT Summits, Whitlock Group Events, and Enterprise Connect to name a few.
Understanding local AV market conditions, and working together to overcome challenges, is key to creating a healthy marketplace. We’ll also be discussing new business opportunities and creative ways to increase revenue streams.
