Have you ever found yourself looking around and saying, “We need more room?” We know the feeling. After hitting capacity at our corporate headquarters in Beaverton, we realized we could really use some elbow room.

Needing additional space for offices and increased manufacturing capacity are pretty amazing problems to have, so we set out to find the ideal facility: close proximity to our corporate headquarters, easy access to public transit, and enough room so we could call it home for the next several years.

Fortunately the perfect building was less than a mile away, and fit both our needs and wants list. Our new Biamp Systems Cascade Manufacturing facility opened its doors in mid-May, and was official on July 27th, 2016, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The City of Tigard Mayor, John Cook, attended the event as well as several other distinguished guests, and fun was had by all.

While the new building is beautifully appointed and more space is quite nice, ultimately, we made this move in order to continue delivering on our commitment of quality audio and video equipment to customers and industry partners. Having extra room also allows us to spread our wings a bit more, whether it’s on the manufacturing floor or in engineering or customer support. The entire Biamp family is excited about the new possibilities.

If you’re planning on attending one of our information-packed and delicious-food-filled training sessions, you’ll love the tour of our new manufacturing facility. You’ll also get a peek into just one of the reasons why we love doing what we do.
