Without giving anything away, this year’s InfoComm is going to be very exciting for us. Biamp always has one of the busiest booths because we’ve always got something new to share (hint hint) with our integrator partners.

You’ll see some new faces at the booth too. Well, I guess some of them are old hats in the industry, but they’re new to Biamp. Connecting with my fellow sales team is one reason I really look forward to these shows. We’re spread out all over the world and come together only a few times a year. The great thing about InfoComm is that you get everybody in one place. That goes for our integrator partners as well. Instead of spending a lot of time with a few people like we do day-to-day, we’ll be spending a little time with a lot of people. There will be 38 Biamp employees from across the company at the show this year, including representatives from sales, marketing, engineering, and our executive team. We’re hoping to connect with as many people as possible.

The message we’ll all be communicating at the show is our commitment to the AV/IT industry in general, and our customers and end users specifically. We’re also looking forward to having more conversations about AVB and our Tesira DSP platform. AVB naysayers can say what they want, but the sales numbers don’t lie: AVB and Tesira are selling and providing the right solutions for our end users.

There will be a second story to our booth with free coffee service and a relaxing meeting area. It’ll provide a kind of escape from the madness of the show floor, while still giving you birds-eye view of the action. We’ll also have a fully-functional conference room for presentations and meetings. If you’ve got a project that we can help with, bring it to the booth and we’ll discuss it over coffee in the conference room. That’s what it’s there for.

We’ll definitely have a few surprises for you at the show, so you really should stop by our booth, and do so often. We’re at Booth 1333. See you there.
