While we have historically conducted the majority of our training courses at our office locations around the world, we realized that we could reach a broader audience by moving most of our training online – in the form of webinars and self-paced tutorials. With online training, you’ll receive the same level of instruction we’ve always provided, but with the added convenience of being able to learn anytime, anywhere. Why AV Lab?
The AV industry continues to grow in scope and complexity, particularly as AV becomes more intertwined with IT. Biamp’s training department recognized the need for more in-depth education to let students develop their skills using real-world tasks. In addition, we wanted to incorporate instruction on network technology as a way to help bridge the gap between the AV and IT worlds. We quickly realized that the best way to do this was to allow you to experiment with the devices and technology they’d encounter out in the field, but in a laboratory environment where you have the time and resources to work through challenges (or diagnose and fix any equipment you might break during the class). You will become part of the Biamp elite, completing the course with a deeper understanding of Biamp products and their function within a larger corporate network.

What is the AV Lab?
Held at our Beaverton, Oregon, headquarters, the AV Lab is designed to provide you with individualized, hands-on training. You will be encouraged to practice your skills using the Biamp products you trust, in a variety of installation scenarios. You’ll have access to an enterprise-level network switch made by Extreme Networks®, as well as a fully-functional audio network that allows multiple Tesira® devices to communicate with each other. We designed the AV Lab with a smaller class structure in mind, which gives you more one-on-one time with our instructors and creates a better classroom environment. Ultimately, our goal with the AV Lab is to provide you with the knowledge you need to complete even the most complex installations effectively and efficiently. The AV Lab is part of our ongoing commitment to investing in your future and providing the support you need in a rapidly evolving industry.

First, we’ll need to verify that you’ve completed all prerequisites. AV Lab enrollment is only available to individuals who have passed Biamp’s TesiraFORTÉ, Tesira SERVER/SERVER-IO, TesiraLUX, and VoIP classes. Because we want to provide individualized, hands-on learning, class sizes are limited to 10 students. Register now to secure your spot.
